The San Fernando Valley Veterans Employment Committee is an all-volunteer organization that works in partnership with various federal and state agencies, employers, training institutions and nonprofit entities. Its purpose is to serve as an employment-focused “network” for veterans, their spouses and children. Employment is our focus.

In collaboration with our partners we seek to help veterans with employment referrals, career development, access to suitable (transitional) housing, medical assistance and supportive services. 

We also sponsor and organize events geared toward connecting veteran jobseekers to employment opportunities and social support service providers. 

Finally, we seek to raise community awareness and support of veterans/military families returning from service. We provide assistance to veterans free of charge. 

We raise funds through a combination of donations, monetary gifts and in-kind support.
